The Kyneton Cup is held during the Spring Racing Carnival at NMIT Kyneton Park and run by the Kyneton & Hanging Rock Racing Club.

One of the best races days of the Country Spring Racing Carnival, Kyneton Cup Day is held in November on the Wednesday falling between the Melbourne Cup 2012 (first Tuesday of November) and the Crown Oaks.

NMIT Kyneton Park Racecourse is located in Kyneton in the Macedon Range on the Campaspe River. About an hour’s drive from the Melbourne CBD, Kyneton Park is a popular and picturesque Victorian country racecourse.
